Prague Pride
Friendly, colorful fun
Since 2011, Prague has celebrated Pride with a week-long festival in August. The festivities begin on a Monday. The week is filled with sports events, workshops, parties, and much more. Pride centers around Střelecký Island, the location of the Pride Village, but events take place all over Prague. The largest event and highlight of Prague Pride is the Parade. The Parade makes a procession through the city to Letna Plain. Tens of thousands of people come to celebrate with the ever-loved rainbow flags.
