Friendly pub for afternoon beer
I went here yesterday for a beer at 5pm and I liked it. It was quiet but friendly - a Czech pub that just happens to be gay! The main pub is cosy and the music gives it a good atmosphere. I went to another pub (not as good) and came back here again at 6 and it was already buzzing. Few spoke English but then again I'm in Prague and I don't speak Czech! The clientele were older and friendly and one even translated for me :-). One very handsome guy sat at the door in a leather jacket but he spoke no English... I'm learning Czech and going back here!
Try it if you wanna get drunk in czech style
I just dropped in. Wanted to eat but Absint 70% got me inside. Think its a local czech pub. Very close to center. Love the jukebox. One friendly customer helped me with the machine. Cheep spiritus, but above avarage for czech beers. 3.5€ for 5cl absinth, 70% but 1.75€ for a pilsner urquell. But it is a cosy place and a bit noicy. But this is real Prague I think. Love it!
One and only smoke free bar in Prague.
Small, cozy, tastefully decorated. If you happen to be in the old town, good place to stop by for a beer or a glass of wine.
